If you haven't already guessed...
I've been a bit under the weather these past couple of weeks. It happens every year about this time. The dry, burning sinus headache. The throbbing pain in my temples. Ahhh, the sacrifices we make in order to live in the beautiful town of Prescott. But what good is being surrounded by all this beauty when you can't even get out and enjoy it?! Guess I picked a bad time to try and start my regular family friendly Fun-tastic Friday posts 'eh?! Never fear however, I've got some great stuff coming up tomorrow for those of us who are able to breath "on the outside".
Hopefully soon, the high pollen season will pass. Until then, I'll have to be content with staying indoors, reading my newest favorite magazine and cozying up with my best boys. If anyone has any ideas on how to rid yourself of an awful migraine-like allergy related headache, I'd really appreciate them. I'm desperate!
Oh, and online shopping....

Seriously. How insanely cute are these?!? I took it as a sign that I was meant to have them when the only size left is mine.

I've heard that eating honey from local bees can help immensly (something about the pollen made to use the honey or something). The key is finding LOCAL honey.
You might try the honey man on south Gurley Street (by Mayas)
Never tried it myself (allergies not that severe) but it would be worth a shot. :)
Oh, thanks Tombo! (and thanks for stopping by too!) I lovelovelove honey! I have never heard the local bees/pollen thing before. Makes sense to me though....and I'll pretty much try anything at this point.
Not to mention, it's a great excuse to visit the Honeyman. I haven't been in there in years.
:) I had you in my reader for a long time, but never saw any new posts until recently. :P
I heard the honey thing from somebody who works for the forest service, and he says it works. So if you like honey, it is a winning situation regardless. :)
I didn't know you didn't know the honey thing...ooops! I heard that years ago...also, there is some sort of tincture at NF specially made for this area, I have never had any luck with it...that is why I advocate drilling a hole in your head to let the evil spirits out...
Or there is the shoe shopping. That usually helps...(have you seen these? Cause they're KILLING me and I cant figure out how to justify them... http://www.converse.com/index.aspx?mode=pd&sku=103497#productdetail ) AND, there's always a girlie night to spice things up...or get you buzzed just enough to forget you have a head or any problems whatsoever...
Jazz Hands!!
CUTE!
