Family Friendly Fun-tastic Friday!
It's the most wonderful time of the year....
No, not Christmas, silly! I'm all aflutter because tomorrow....yes tomorrow, is the much anticipated opening of the Prescott Farmer's Market!
The market officially opens at 7:30am, but I might have to sneak down there a bit early since I have to meet my mom at an estate sale at 8. Thank goodness they are near each other! If you see me sneaking around, sampling and photographing then be sure to say hello. Or at least wave or something. I'm friendly. I promise. :)
I look forward to the Farmer's Market every year. For me, it means the "official" beginning of summer! We are so lucky to have a market such a wide variety of vendors...everything from amazing salmon tamales to fresh peanut butter, to wine and a wide array of the freshest fruits and vegetables. At least that's what I remember from last year. I can only imagine that this year it will have grown a bit.
If for some strange reason, you can't make it, I highly suggest checking out their website. It's chock full of information on what's in season, as well as a yummy recipes and links to other relevant websites.

I also want to wish a very Happy Early Mother's Day to everyone! I hope you all have a lovely day and are able to spend it with those you love, doing exactly what you want to be doing. I will be visiting the Victorian Garden Tea Room for high tea with my dear, sweet maman. XOXO
